On the 8th of February, my family, my friends and I had participated in a charity run at Botanic Park, which the environment there was fresh and clean and many of us took this golden opportunity to have a walk there. The journey was about 9 km and took us about one and the half hours to complete the run.
As early as 6.15, we had to be there for registration. Most of us had been arrived earlier to prepare ourselves, therefore there were also people who came late. Besides, many adult also took part in this event. At 6.30 sharp, the organizer invited a coach to lead us for a light warm up. After that, they announced that the male category will be running soon as well as the female category. After 5 minutes of the male category started, the female category starts. At first, we all gathered together for the run. But after half an hour, we decided to run separately because some of us were slow and some were fast.
Furthermore, we have to run up and down of the forest. Therefore, it was really tired but fun. About 45 minutes, there was a station for us to stop by and have a sip of water. Along the journey, there were some people were motivating us and gave us support. There were sound of cheering and sound of people talking. After 30 minutes, I felt my body lack of oxygen and water. When I wanted to give up, I saw a group of people running towards me and I told myself that I should keep it up when others did not gave up halfway. After that, I saw another station that were waiting for us and I was so HAPPY that I could drink some water.
After a sip of water, I felt more energetic and have more strength to run. Suddenly, I saw someone fell down while he was about to turn. The BSMM was there to help the poor guy. They help him to wash his wound on the leg to prevent infection. However, I continued my run. After I saw the finish line, I ran as fast as I could to finish the race. When I reach the finish line my friend was there and everyone was so tired and they still panting along. After about 30 minutes, all the participants were running back one by one. Unfortunately, I also saw a man, who knocked his head on a rock when he fell, was bleeding. The organizer decided to pick him up from the hill. His head was wrapped by bandage to avoid the blood to overflow.
Moving on with prize giving and lucky draws. There were many prizes waiting for us to draw. There were some people who had went back home and some of them that stay back after the run to get the prizes: ) We waited for one and the half hour for this but unfortunately we did not get anything. This event was a tired but happy and fun. I had learned many things and some moral values from this event. Firstly, I learned to be stronger and don't give up when you were already halfway done. It is important in our daily life. Without it our life would not be amazing and fun. We would just stopped halfway in our life.

What I dislike most about Valentine's day and Chinese New Year
Hmm..... What I dislike most about Valentine's day and Chinese New Year? I do not know what I dislike about this two special celebration. But, let me just talk about Valentine's day first. Well, as we knew that Valentine's day is a special day when it is traditional to send a card, often anonymously, to a person one is romantically involved with or attracted to. Modern way which the male will buy roses for the female I think: ) to show their true heart. Therefore, there will be a lot of people buying roses for their lover. But I dont have it...hahha just saying. So, what is the reason I don't really like this is that we as a child or a teenager do not have chance to experience it. It is because we have not found our true love that will support each other along your life. Secondly, today I have saw a scene where many people hurt themselves suddenly, I'm one of it too..... Haizzz such an unlucky day in a special day.
Moving on to Chinese New Year. As we know Chinese New Year is most of the children who celebrate Chinese New Year would get ang pou from the adults and parents when they met them. Furthermore, there will be lion dance performance almost everywhere we go. So, I was annoyed by the drum's beat of the lion dance which was really loud and could heard it from far away. Secondly, I was also irritated by the loud sound of the string of the small firecrackers. The loud sound with a high frequency strike into my eardrum and to the small little organ, brain. Also, many of us having traffic jam while going back your hometown. Therefore, we need to stay in the car for many hours and it's very tired. Moreover, This is some reasons why l dislike about Chinese New Year.
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE WHO CELEBRATE AND TO THOSE WHO WERE NOT CELEBRATING I WOULD WISH YOU ALL HAPPY HOLIDAY !!! LASTLY, I HOPE EVERYONE HAVE A NICE DAY : ) ! ! ! ! ! !

Mood
In essays and other literary works, the dominant impression or emotional atmosphere evoked by the text. To distinguish between mood and tone can be difficult. W. Harmon and H. Holman suggest that mood is "the emotional-intellectual attitude of the author toward the subject" and tone "the attitude of the author toward the audience" (A Handbook to Literature, 2006). There are many factor that can affect the mood. For example, the atmosphere can affect the mood of a person.
Have you ever prepared yourself to go to the beach on a sunny day and then notice the subtle change in weather signaling that you would soon be visited by rain? You might recall a move from a feeling of elation to one of disappointment, even sadness. Why did this happen?
Although common sense and cultural sense seems to imply that our moods are affected by the weather, there is little to no supported evidence that gives credence to this hypothesis. Denisson et al (666) corroborates this by showing that there is no direct correlation between positive weather and positive affect, however, the research shows that there is a physiological link between, let’s say sunlight, and happiness. Vitamin D3 (which affects mood)levels increase with sunlight; therefore, the more sunlight we get, the better we feel. However, it is also true that too much sunlight and heat may cause tiredness, and subsequently, engender negative affect.
Whereas people generally have positive feelings towards sunlight, many link a negative mood with rain. Loewen, in an online article entitled “Effects of Weather on Human Emotions”, considers stigmas attached to rain in practical terms - it may prevent us from socializing face-to-face with others, and we may have to stay indoors, thereby provoking feelings of frustration or sadness because of our inability to freely maneuver outdoors; and there are the complications for some of getting wet and becoming ill. On the other hand, there are places in this world that may experience severe dry seasons or drought, and the rain is seen as a welcomed sign of rebirth and life.
We can continue to evaluate the effects of weather on our mood, but in looking closer we will begin to understand that our subjective reactions have been socially and culturally instilled. Depending on our climactic circumstance, atmospheric conditions may be seen as favorable or not, but it is not until we objectively review whether there is a correlation will we be able to show that we have no conclusive evidence. In the meantime, the layman understands that weather affects his mood; he just can’t distinguish if he grew up learning it or if the feeling originated inside of himself.
